The incredibly successful Arden International team becomes Trust Team Arden in 2008. One of the most successful teams in F3000 history, Arden, together with new partner Trust, will see 2008 as an opportunity to make amends for three disappointing years by their own high standards. And there’s no better place to start than with the GP2 Asia Series.
The team maintains its link with the Red Bull F1 team through team owner Christian Horner, and it is fitting that the most promising Red Bull driver of GP2’s 2007 campaign, Sebastien Buemi, is handed the team’s lead car.
In the Asian series, Pakistans’ Adam Khan jumps into the second car. Although born and raised in Britain, Khan has represented Pakistan in A1GP and is rightfully proud of his family’s heritage. He has the honour of being recognised by the Pakistani government as the country’s Ambassador of Motorsport.
This seasons second driver in Main Series is Yelmer Buurman. After careful consideration Yelmer emerged as the obvious candidate for Trust Team Arden. After following his progress with interest through European Formula 3, the team is certain that Yelmer can look forward to a strong season in GP2.
Soon Trust Team Arden will launch a multimedia zone for the fans with the coolest videos, ringtones and wallpapers from the team.
